By default, Wordfast Pro can open ASP files without any preparations. On the other hand, to open an ASPX file in Wordfast Pro, you need first to use a rules (*.properties) file.
- Go to Edit menu > Preferences > Formats > New > Text-based Filter.
- Use the browse button [...] to locate the "Conversion rules" (*.properties) file at a location like: C:\Program Files\Wordfast\rules\ASP.properties.
- Make sure the "Extension" textbox shows *.aspx and save the settings (OK).
- You should be able to open the ASPX file in WFP (File menu > Open file).
Please make sure the TXML file includes all the translatable strings in the ASPX; this method is NOT officially supported.
