Smart quotes here also refer to the other quotation marks and punctuation auto-correction. This feature should be enabled by default. If not, you can turn it on by doing the following:

  1. Open the Preferences.
  2. Go under General Preferences.
  3. Click on Segment.
  4. Tick the option Enable Smart Quotes.
