The Wordfast demo mode

The Wordfast philosophy is strictly try-before-you-buy, this is why a generous "demo mode" is offered, 5 times larger than our closest competitor.

You can freely download and install the regular, full version of Wordfast from the download page. Once this is done, you can start using Wordfast with all its features activated, but the Translation Memory (TM) will hold only 500 translation units. Of course, you can keep translating with a new, empty translation memory⁽¹⁾. Even though you will have less "leverage" from the TM, you can still enjoy the segmentation, the use of three glossaries and all other features. Many translators work for weeks before deciding to buy.

Do not wait for the last minute, because purchasing a license may take some time: a couple hours (by credit card) to a couple days (by bank transfer).

or compress all TUs that were not re-used, to reduce the TM size and continue working.
